Soccer Game Preview: Sky View vs. Green Canyon

For the first time this season, Sky View will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup on Tuesday. They will venture away from home to challenge the Green Canyon Wolves at 7:00 p.m. Sky View's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Sky View came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against American Fork, falling 4-1. The match was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for the Bobcats it sure didn't stay that way.

Meanwhile, Green Canyon's undefeated season came to an end after three games on Friday. They fell just short of Weber by a score of 3-2. The loss was Wolves' first of the season.

Cannon Clark wasn't going to let Weber walk away unscathed as he scored both of Green Canyon's goals, bringing his season total up to six goals.

Sky View now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Green Canyon, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Sky View came out on top in a nail-biter against Green Canyon in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, sneaking past 3-2. The rematch might be a little tougher for Sky View since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
