Football Recap: Cleveland Hill Comes Up Short

Cleveland Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 49-6 loss at the hands of the Alden Bulldogs. The Golden Eagles lost against the Bulldogs in their previous head to head back in October of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 43-28 score last time.

Cleveland Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Alden, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 2-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cleveland Hill will face off against Medina at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Golden Eagles will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups. As for Alden, they will venture away from home to challenge Barker/Royalton-Hartland on Friday. The Bulls will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
