Baseball Recap: Pisgah Comes Up Short

Pisgah lost against Fyffe back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Pisgah Eagles fell 6-3 to the Fyffe Red Devils. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pisgah saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ross Smith, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI. The dominant performance gave Smith a new career-high in RBI.

Pisgah now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Fyffe, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season.

Pisgah will be taking part in a tournament against Skyline at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Fyffe, they will face off against Columbia at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
