Baseball Recap: Glendora Triumphs

Glendora was forced to take a big defeat against they on Thursday, they got the better of them on Monday. They walked away with a 5-1 victory over the Bonita Bearcats. This was a revenge game for the Tartans: when they faced off against the Bearcats on Thursday, they had to take a 6-0 loss.

John Seader was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three runs. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Glaze, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with one RBI.

Glendora's win bumped their record up to 14-9. As for Bonita, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 15-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glendora will take on Walnut at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mustangs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Tartans surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bonita, they will square off against Ayala at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs' pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so the Bearcats' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
