Game recap: Blue Springs High School Football Team beats Howell

ST. CHARLES, Mo. - Dalvin Warmack ran for two touchdowns and Wylson Lamb added two as well as Blue Springs (Mo.) upset Howell (St. Charles, Mo.) 42-3 on Saturday.

The Wildcats were up 28-3 at the half after taking the lead on a Warmack touchdown run in the second quarter.

Blue Springs expanded its lead to 32 points entering the fourth quarter. BS's lone score in the quarter came on a Warmack touchdown run.

The loss snapped the Vikings' 4-game winning streak.

The Wildcats' standout player in the win was Lamb. The senior quarterback threw one touchdown. He has now scored nine touchdowns on the season.

Zac Perkins made a difference for Howell. The senior running back kicked one field goal.



HHS came in giving up 7.8 points per game this season. The St. Charles school struggled against Blue Springs, which came in averaging 48.2 points per game. BS entered the contest giving up 20.3 points per game this year.

The loss comes after Howell defeated Lafayette 17-6 last week.

In their next matchup the Vikings (12-2) will take on Blue Springs in a playoff game. The Wildcats will bring a record of 12-1 into the meeting.
