Basketball Game Preview: Steele Comets vs. North Ridgeville Rangers

The Steele Comets are taking a road trip to face off against the North Ridgeville Rangers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Steele knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 20 matches -- so hopefully North Ridgeville likes a good challenge.

Last Friday, Steele was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 65-64 to Avon.

Meanwhile, North Ridgeville strolled past Avon Lake with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 81-64. The Rangers haven't had any issues with the Shoremen recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Steele's defeat dropped their record down to 13-8. As for North Ridgeville, their win bumped their record up to 7-14.

Steele skirted past North Ridgeville 64-61 in their previous matchup back in January. The rematch might be a little tougher for Steele since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
