Neshaminy entered their tilt with Council Rock South on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They walked away with a 6-1 victory over the Golden Hawks. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 9-1 victory on Tuesday.

Chase Bonner spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on seven hits and racked up 12 Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Dan Marable was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one double. Another player making a difference was Danny Nocito, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Neshaminy's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Council Rock South, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Neshaminy is set to square off against their familiar foe Pennsbury at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Skins 2.4, the Falcons 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Council Rock South will face off against rival Council Rock North at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Golden Hawks have a tough task ahead: they'll enter the match with three straight defeats, while the Indians will come in with three straight wins.
