Liberty Union waltzed into their match on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They walked away with a 7-4 win over the Granville Blue Aces. For the Lions, this counts as revenge for the 12-4 victory the Blue Aces walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2018.

Liberty Union's win was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-1. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.1 runs on average over those games. As for Granville, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Looking ahead, Liberty Union will be playing at home against Bishop Hartley at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Hawks have averaged an impressive 11.7 runs per game this season.
