Shakopee is headed into the game having just suffered their biggest defeat since February 13, 2024 on Friday. They had to suffer through a 75-45 loss at the hands of Rosemount.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Lakeville South took on Lakeville North on Thursday. Lakeville South took a 53-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of Lakeville North. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Lakeville South's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Shakopee, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.

Shakopee won a contest that couldn't have been any closer in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, slipping by Lakeville South 62-61. The rematch might be a little tougher for Shakopee since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
