Pembroke Pines Charter had won four straight on the road, but on Wednesday they bumped up to 9-6 to make it five. They put the hurt on the Piper Bengals with a sharp 3-0 win. The Jaguars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bengals, too.

As for Piper, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since September 3rd.

Despite the defeat, Piper saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Madison Delamotte had ten digs and two aces. Delamotte has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last eight times she's played.

Looking ahead, Pembroke Pines Charter will welcome Nova at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Piper does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
