The Lincoln Northwest Falcons will face off against the Standing Bear Grizzlies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Lincoln Northwest and four for Standing Bear.

On Friday, Lincoln Northwest was beaten by Crete 45-7.

Lincoln Northwest's defeat came about despite a quality game from Kaiden Wood, who rushed for 98 yards and one TD. Eli Gonzalez also deserves some recognition as he passed for his first passing yards of the season.

Meanwhile, Standing Bear came up short against Pius X on Friday and fell 21-14.

Standing Bear's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Lincoln Northwest, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.
