Basketball Game Preview: Mumford Mustangs vs. North Farmington Raiders

The Mumford Mustangs will head out to take on the North Farmington Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

On Saturday, Mumford came up short against Ecorse and fell 70-63. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for North Farmington, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 56-55 win over West Bloomfield. Given the Raiders' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 73rd, while the Lakers are ranked 206th), the result on Thursday wasn't entirely unexpected.

North Farmington has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-9 record this season. As for Mumford, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-12.
