Newton-Conover entered their tilt with North Lincoln on Tuesday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Their defense stepped up to hand the Knights a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for Newton-Conover, who have now won 13 matchups by three goals or more so far this season.

Zach Schweighardt and Josue Macias-Sevilla scored all three of Newton-Conover's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 41 goals.

Newton-Conover's win bumped their record up to 19-1-3. As for North Lincoln, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-9-3.
