Basketball Recap: Pioneer Charter School of Science Skates Past Community Charter School of Cambridge with Ease

It was a proper cat-fight when Pioneer Charter School of Science faced off against Community Charter School of Cambridge on Thursday. The Pioneer Charter School of Science Panthers took their game with ease, bagging a 46-12 win over the Community Charter School of Cambridge Cougars. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Pioneer Charter School of Science found their leader in freshman Dina Gharouadi, who posted 18 points and five steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gharouadi has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Stella Cavalcante, who scored 14 points and six rebounds.

With the victory, Pioneer Charter School of Science broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-4. As for Community Charter School of Cambridge, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Pioneer Charter School of Science wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 69-26 defeat against Prospect Hill Academy on the 14th. As for Community Charter School of Cambridge, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 43-23 loss against Pioneer Charter School of Science II on the 10th.
