Softball Recap: Anaconda Copperheads vs. Three Forks Wolves

Anaconda lost against Three Forks on April 9th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Anaconda Copperheads lost 12-2 to the Three Forks Wolves. Anaconda has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

For Three Forks' part, Kinley Feliciano spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits and racked up nine Ks.

On the hitting side, Sierra Schall was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Eva Parker, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Anaconda's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Three Forks, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.

Anaconda will head out on the road to square off against Thompson Falls at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Thompson Falls is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 13.8 runs per game this season. As for Three Forks, they will head out on the road to take on Powell County at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
