Volleyball Game Preview: Ridge Community Bolts vs. Celebration Storm

The Ridge Community Bolts will challenge the Celebration Storm at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Ridge Community is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

Ridge Community came up short against Lake Howell on Wednesday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-20, 25-16, 25-13.

Meanwhile, Celebration was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Lake Nona.

Celebration actually scored more points across those five sets (100-97), but sadly they still had to settle for second. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 12-25, 20-25, 25-16, 15-11.

Celebration's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Ridge Community, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

Ridge Community skirted past Celebration 3-2 when the teams last played on April 1st. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bolts since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
