Volleyball Recap: Liberty Falls Despite Big Games from Cadence Drumm and Taylor Dallin

Liberty lost against Murrieta Valley back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bison fell 3-1 to the Nighthawks.

Liberty started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 25-11, 25-19, 25-16.

Taylor Dallin and Cadence Drumm certainly did their best on Tuesday to avoid the loss. Dallin had 14 digs, five kills, two aces, and one block, while Drumm had seven digs and two aces. Drumm has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

Liberty's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Murrieta Valley, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Liberty wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 win against Elsinore on the 3rd. As for Murrieta Valley, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Yucaipa on the 3rd.
