Recap: Brearley Bears vs. Dayton Bulldogs
Even though the Brearley Bears have not done well against the Dayton Bulldogs recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Brearley walked away with a 46-37 win over Dayton. The win made it back-to-back wins for Brearley.
Loss or not, Dayton got some senior leadership from Aden Pecana who scored 16 points and Jj Perez who scored ten points along with three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for him.
The victory got Brearley back to even at 3-3. As for Dayton, they bumped their record down to 1-5 with that loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.
Brearley will face off against Spotswood at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Spotswood's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last four contests. As for Dayton, they will be playing at home against Mountain Lakes at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
