Academy of Richmond County picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-55 win over the Washington County Golden Hawks. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Musketeers.

When it comes to explaining why Washington County lost, don't look at Brashod Heggs. Despite the final result, he went 9 of 18 en route to 20 points and six rebounds. That was a full 36.4% of Washington County's points, marking the third time in a row he's posted more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Kaden Collins, who had nine points.

Academy of Richmond County's victory bumped their record up to 5-8. As for Washington County, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-8 record this season.
