Softball Recap: Brockport Takes a Loss

Brockport was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eastridge Lancers. The Blue Devils were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Lancers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Brockport's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Eastridge, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Looking ahead, Brockport will challenge Canandaigua Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Braves have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 18.75 runs per game on average), something the Blue Devils will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Eastridge, they will square off against Pittsford at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
