Westwood never let their opponents score on Friday. They blew past the Port St. Lucie Jaguars 40-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Panthers also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2023.

A big part of Westwood's victory came down to the chemistry between Joseph Weather Jr. and his top target Jermaine Walker. Weather Jr. threw for 250 yards and five TDs while completing 82.8% of his passes while Walker gained 161 total yards and a touchdown. Walker also posted 120 receiving yards, which is notable because Westwood is undefeated when he posts at least 80 receiving yards, but 0-3 otherwise.

Westwood was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 200 rushing yards. They are a perfect 3-0 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

On the defensive side of the ball, a lot of the credit has to go to Westwood's defense and their four sacks. Port St. Lucie's QB won't forget Malachi Francios anytime soon given he sacked him twice. Francios also set a new season-high mark in total tackles with nine.

Westwood is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 32.5 points over those games. As for Port St. Lucie, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Westwood will take on Heritage at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 896 yards in their previous games. As for Port St. Lucie, they will be playing at home against Okeechobee at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
