Basketball Recap: Whitefield Academy Comes Up Short

Whitefield Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost to the Iroquois Raiders at home by a 44-28 margin. The matchup marked the Wildcats' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Whitefield Academy's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Iroquois, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Whitefield Academy will be playing at home against Highlands Latin at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Whitefield Academy is facing Highlands Latin at the right time seeing as Highlands Latin is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Iroquois, they will head out on the road to square off against Butler at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
