Recap: Hamilton Southeastern Royals vs. Zionsville Eagles
After losing to the Zionsville Eagles the last time they met, the Hamilton Southeastern Royals decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. Hamilton Southeastern came out on top against Zionsville by a score of 42-35 on Friday. The win made it back-to-back wins for Hamilton Southeastern.
Maguire Mitchell and Drew Snively certainly did their best on Friday to try and avoid the loss. Mitchell scored 12 points along with two blocks, while Snively scored 14 points.
Hamilton Southeastern is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 10-5 record this season. As for Zionsville, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.
Hamilton Southeastern won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Mt. Vernon at 7:30 p.m. on January 20th. Mt. Vernon has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Zionsville, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Brownsburg at 7:30 p.m.
