Volleyball Recap: Ridgway Demons vs. Telluride Miners

Ridgway was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Telluride Miners, falling 3-0. The Demons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Miners from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-15, 25-15.

Madison Megahee paced Ridgway's offense, picking up three kills. Megahee got some help from Mary Patrick and her three assists.

Telluride's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ford Fenton, who had 14 digs and five aces. Those five aces gave Fenton a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Hazel Noel, who had three digs and three aces.

Ridgway's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Telluride, their victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-1.
