Soccer Game Preview: Millis vs. Medway

Millis hasn't had much luck against Medway recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mohawks will head out on the road to square off against the Mustangs at 6:00 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Millis' offense. They lost 6-0 to Norton on Thursday.

Meanwhile, Medway entered their contest against Nipmuc Regional on Monday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Mustangs came up short against the Warriors, falling 4-1. While losing is never fun, Medway can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts soccer rankings (they are ranked 84th, while Nipmuc Regional are ranked third).

Millis' defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Medway, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 4-4.

Millis suffered a grim 4-0 defeat to Medway when the teams last played back in September of 2024. Can the Mohawks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
