Basketball Recap: Bastrop Find Success

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hargrave, Bastrop was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top against Canyon Lake by a score of 63-55. This was a revenge game for the Bears: when they faced off against Canyon Lake two weeks ago, they had to take a 56-39 loss.

Bastrop's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Canyon Lake, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Bastrop has already played their next matchup, a 52-45 defeat against Fredericksburg on the 28th. As for Canyon Lake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 66-37 loss against Montgomery on the 28th.
