Ezekiel Academy lost to Macon-East Montgomery Academy back in April of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. Ezekiel Academy were the clear victor by a 10-2 margin over Macon-East Montgomery Academy. The win made it back-to-back victories for Ezekiel Academy.

Sarah Vick made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Vick was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. She is also on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in each of the last three games she's played dating back to last season.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Addie Newell, who scored three runs while going 1-for-2. That's the most runs she has posted since back in February of 2024.

Ezekiel Academy hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most five strikeouts in seven consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

Ezekiel Academy's record now sits at 2-0. As for Macon-East Montgomery Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Coincidentally, Ezekiel Academy and Macon-East Montgomery Academy will both be playing Fort Dale Academy the next time they take the field. Ezekiel Academy will head out to face Fort Dale Academy at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, while Macon-East Montgomery Academy will play them later in the day, at 9:00 a.m.
