Football Game Preview: Wind River vs. Cokeville

Cokeville have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They hope to keep the momentum going despite having enjoyed some extra time before their next contest against Wind River at 2:00 PM. Cokeville don't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy an advantage in the MaxPreps rankings.

Cokeville put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season two weeks ago. They steamrollered Rocky Mountain 48-0. The victory was familiar territory for Cokeville, who now have five in a row.

Meanwhile, if Wind River were riding high off their 45-14 takedown of Shoshoni, that ride came to an abrupt end. Last Friday, Wind River and Rocky Mountain were almost perfectly matched up, but Wind River suffered an agonizing 12-13 loss. Things were expected to be close, but in this case the state rankings mixed up the winning team.

Everything came up roses for Cokeville against Wind River the last time the two teams met as the team secured a 37-0 win.
