Football Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to five on Friday, dropping them down to 0-4. They were dealt a 35-6 loss at the hands of the Quartz Hill Royals. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Quartz Hill's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kemir Smith, who rushed for 91 yards and a pair of scores, and also picked up 39 receiving yards and one TD. Another signal caller making a difference was Brody Larey, who threw for 115 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
