Hamilton/Warsaw had won three straight games and Millie Harness did her part to make it four on Monday. The Titans walked away with a 2-0 win over the Beardstown Tigers with plenty of help from Harness, who had three aces and one block. She has been hot for a while, having also posted 13 or more assists the last 11 times she's played.

Hamilton/Warsaw easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18.

Several Tigers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Winner Lubi, who had five kills and two blocks.

Hamilton/Warsaw now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Beardstown, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-13.

Coming up, Hamilton/Warsaw is taking a road trip to challenge Liberty at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Beardstown, they will host West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
