Volleyball Recap: Glenbrook South Now 17-3 over Last 20 Games

The Glenbrook South Titans beat the Von Steuben Panthers 2-0 on Tuesday.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Glenbrook South took both sets by at least 18 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-7.

Glenbrook South found their leader in sophomore Maddie Hermann, who had 15 assists and six aces. Those six aces set a new season-high mark for Hermann.

Glenbrook South is on a roll lately: they've won 17 of their last 20 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-7 record this season. As for Von Steuben, their loss ended a five-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-13-1.

Looking ahead, Glenbrook South will take on Lane Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Von Steuben does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
