Volleyball Recap: Chester Comes Up Short at Home Against Thornwell

Chester unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the Thornwell Saints on Tuesday. The Cyclones were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Saints apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-10, 25-20.

Thornwell was led to victory by Chloe Wilson and Madilynn Porter. Wilson had five aces, while Porter had two aces. That's the most aces Porter has posted since back in October of 2024.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chester will square off against Great Falls at 6:00 p.m. on the 21st. As for Thornwell, they will venture away from home to face off against Tournament Opponent at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
