Volleyball Recap: MAST Academy Takes a Loss

MAST Academy came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Monsignor Pace Spartans.

While MAST Academy ultimately came up short, they really made Monsignor Pace work, particularly in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 26-24.

Monsignor Pace found their leader in sophomore Lucas Neptune, who had 13 digs and two assists.

MAST Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Monsignor Pace, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-4.

MAST Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Jackson at 4:00 p.m. on April 3rd. As for Monsignor Pace, they will head out on the road to challenge Mourning at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
