Soccer Game Preview: Wake Forest vs. Millbrook

Wake Forest hasn't had much luck against Millbrook recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Cougars will head out to square off against the Wildcats at 6:15 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Wake Forest is headed into the matchup having not lost since March 8 and will look to keep things rolling. They came out on top against Rolesville by a score of 3-1 on Monday. Wake Forest haven't had any issues with Rolesville recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Meanwhile, Millbrook entered their tilt with Knightdale on Monday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They never let the Knights get on the board and left with a 12-0 win. Millbrook might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Knightdale from everywhere, as nine different players booted in a goal. Megan Burnette led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for two goals all by herself.

Wake Forest's victory bumped their record up to 13-1-5. As for Millbrook, their win bumped their record up to 10-2-4.
