Football Recap: Nazareth Comes Up Short on the Road Against Westbrook + How To Watch

Nazareth had to start their season on the road on Thursday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They were outmatched by the Westbrook Wildcats and fell 65-20. The Swifts were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-20.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westbrook to victory, but perhaps none more so than Caleb Browne, who rushed for 49 yards and two scores, and also threw for 77 yards and a pair of TDs. Those 49 rushing yards gave Browne a new career-high. Landon Rodriguez was another key player, gaining 181 total yards and two touchdowns.

Coming up, Nazareth will look to takes advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on Borden County at 7:30 p.m. on September 5. As for Westbrook, they are taking a road trip to take on Jonesboro at 6:00 p.m. on September 5.
