Volleyball Recap: Desert Comes Up Short

Desert lost against Antelope Valley back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Scorpions fell 3-1 to the Antelopes.

Desert started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 25-27, 25-23, 25-19, 25-21.

Desert's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Antelope Valley, their victory bumped their record up to 9-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Desert will venture away from home to challenge Lancaster on Saturday. As for Antelope Valley, they will head out to square off against Palmdale at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Antelopes are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
