Basketball Game Preview: South Central Trojans vs. Monroeville Eagles

South Central is 2-8 against Monroeville since February of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Trojans will square off against the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. South Central has given up an average of 61.3 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Tuesday, South Central lost to New London at home by a 74-58 margin.

Meanwhile, Monroeville waltzed into their game on Wednesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They walked away with a 53-40 win over the Chargers.

South Central now has a losing record of 10-11. As for Monroeville, their victory bumped their record up to 15-5.

South Central couldn't quite get it done against Monroeville in their previous meeting back in January as they fell 70-57. Can the Trojans avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
