John Glenn put the finishing touches on their ninth blowout victory of the season on Monday. They put the hurt on the Philo Electrics with a sharp 9-3 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as John Glenn also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.
Sydney Marshall was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits. In other batting news, Estelle Matheney was incredible, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4. Addi Babcock was another key contributor, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
On Philo's side, Kassydi Harris made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with a home run.
John Glenn's victory bumped their record up to 14-6. As for Philo, they dropped their record down to 10-9 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road.
