Football Recap: Milpitas Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Milpitas extended their losing streak to four on Friday, dropping them down to 4-6. They took a blow against the Woodside Wildcats, falling 42-14. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 716th, while the Wildcats are ranked 268th).

Jonah Mati threw for 128 yards and one TD. Ayden Guglielmelli was his top target, picking up 91 receiving yards. On the ground, Esene Head rushed for 40 yards.

As for Woodside, their win was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-0. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine contests by 21 points or more this season.

Woodside's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Charlie Dalrymple, who threw for 221 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 88.9% of his passes. Those 221 passing yards gave Dalrymple a new career-high. Woodside's leading receiver Grady Furtado was Dalrymple's top target yet again, picking up 112 receiving yards and one score.

As of now, neither Milpitas nor the Wildcats have any future games scheduled.
