Corinth Holders' defense heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Monday. They put the hurt on Southeast Raleigh with a sharp 9-0 win. The victory continues a trend for Corinth Holders in their matchups with Southeast Raleigh: they've now won eight in a row.

Corinth Holders' offense was hitting Southeast Raleigh from everywhere, as six different players booted in a goal. Marley Santarsiero led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, Cleveland came up short against Fuquay - Varina on Monday, falling 6-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Cleveland were already down 4-1.

Corinth Holders' win bumped their record up to 6-4-3. As for Cleveland, they dropped their record down to 3-8-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Everything went Corinth Holders' way against Cleveland in their previous meeting back in March, as Corinth Holders made off with a 6-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
