After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Haines City, George Jenkins was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They took their game with ease, bagging a 61-9 victory over the Lake Gibson Braves. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Despite the loss, Lake Gibson still got an impressive performance from Shania Benjamin, who posted eight points.

George Jenkins' win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Lake Gibson, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. George Jenkins will take on Seffner Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Seffner Christian will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something George Jenkins surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lake Gibson, they will venture away from home to face off against Auburndale at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
