Volleyball Recap: Orem Takes Down Ranked Syracuse

Orem faced Syracuse in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Titans. The Tigers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Titans, so the Tigers were just returning the favor.

Orem is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-3 record this season. As for Syracuse, they moved to 16-6 with that defeat, which also ended their six-match winning streak.

Looking ahead, Orem will welcome Summit Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Syracuse, they will square off against Weber at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
