Softball Recap: Pee Dee Academy Extends Road Winning Streak to Four

After losing to Loris the last time they met, Pee Dee Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Pee Dee Academy Golden Eagles walked away with a 4-1 win over the Loris Lions on Friday.

Pee Dee Academy's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Loris, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-4.

Pee Dee Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Laurence Manning Academy at 6:00 p.m. on April 2nd. As for Loris, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 12-2 victory against Marlboro County on the 18th.
