Baseball Recap: Olton Takes a Loss

Olton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Ropes Eagles, falling 15-1. The game marked the Mustangs' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Olton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Ropes, their win bumped their record up to 5-3.

Looking ahead, Olton will face off against Crosbyton at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. Olton has given up an average of 8.1 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Ropes, they will take on New Deal at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. New Deal will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Ropes surely won't give up without a fight.
