Basketball Recap: Ryle Takes a Loss

Ryle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They took a 51-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of the North Laurel Jaguars. While losing is never fun, the Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 97th, while the Jaguars are ranked third).

Ryle's loss dropped their record down to 7-21. As for North Laurel, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 24-2.

Coming up, Ryle will face off against Bishop Brossart at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for North Laurel, they will head out on the road to take on Pulaski County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
