Baseball Recap: Easley Takes a Loss

Easley couldn't beat Eastside on Friday even though they stacked eight runs on them in the second inning. The Green Wave took a 12-9 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Green Wave have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Easley now has a losing record of 14-15-1. As for Eastside, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-10 record this season.

Easley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Eastside, they will head out to take on Indian Land at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Warriors will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
