Basketball Game Preview: Jefferson Blue Jays vs. Kingston Cougars

The Jefferson Blue Jays will square off against the Kingston Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.

Last Monday, Jefferson ended up a good deal behind Fredericktown and lost 70-55.

Meanwhile, Kingston was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap last Saturday as they fell 42-36 to Saxony Lutheran. The contest marked the Cougars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Jefferson has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season. As for Kingston, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

Jefferson came up short against Kingston in their previous matchup back in February of 2024, falling 54-42. Can Jefferson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
