Basketball Recap: Gavin Dabney's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Jellico over Harriman

Jellico was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against Harriman, falling 70-44. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss Jellico has suffered since December 30, 2024.

Jellico's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Gavin Dabney, who went 5-for-11 on his way to 10 points. Blake Shelby was another key player, putting up four points and six rebounds.

Jellico's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Harriman, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Jellico nor Harriman have any future games scheduled.
