Norwalk and Clyde are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2018, but likely not for long. The Truckers will be playing at home against the Fliers at 4:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Norwalk's pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so Clyde's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Wednesday, Norwalk was able to grind out a solid victory over Bellevue, taking the game 6-2. The win continues a trend for the Truckers in their matchups with the Redmen: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Clyde, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against Ontario by a score of 4-1 on Saturday.

Mason Flewelling was excellent, going 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. Dawson Jeffrey was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Norwalk pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Clyde, their victory bumped their record up to 5-9.

Everything went Norwalk's way against Clyde when the teams last played on April 11th, as Norwalk made off with an 8-0 win. Do the Truckers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Fliers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
