Volleyball Recap: St. Joseph Academy Takes Down the Cambridge School in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and St. Joseph Academy had no trouble coming through when it counted. They came out on top against The Cambridge School Griffins by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Crusaders: when they faced off against the Griffins back in September, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

Victoria Adams went supernova, getting 21 digs and one assist. Those 21 digs gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Avery Fontaine, who had ten digs and three assists.

St. Joseph Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in eight consecutive matches.

St. Joseph Academy's victory bumped their record up to 12-22. As for The Cambridge School, their loss dropped their record down to 8-11.

As of now, neither St. Joseph Academy nor the Griffins have any future games scheduled.
